The annual event will take place at the British Motor Museum and will include a keynote presentation from Perry McCarthy – The Original Stig
A record 300 advisers attended National Later Life Adviser Conference in 2022, making it the largest event of its kind, with more expected this year
24 April 2023: The platform for later life lending professionals – Air – has launched the registration process for its Annual National Later Life Adviser Conference. This year’s event will take place at the British Motor Museum on 29 June 2023 – a larger venue than last year – as Air hopes to break its own record as the largest event of its kind in the Later Life Lending calendar.
With the focus on navigating the challenges of the Consumer Duty regime which is due to come into force from 31 July 2023, the conference (https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/national-later-life-lending-adviser-conference-2023-tickets-510542595647) will bring together a variety of industry experts from trade bodies to consumer champions offering insights and practical solutions.
Attendees will be treated to a full day of CPD qualifying training as well as the opportunity to network with peers and hear more about staying on the right track from former F1 and Le Mans racing driver Perry McCarthy, the original ‘Stig’ from BBC’s Top Gear.
Lender representatives as well as familiar industry faces will also take part in discussions and panel debates on the latest developments impacting advisers to help them navigate the upcoming changes and support them in providing the best outcomes for their clients.
Finally, there will also be a number of interactive breakout sessions presented by subject specialists, covering topics such as lead generation, customer vulnerability and market innovation.
Mike Taylor, Managing Director of Air Club, said:
“We are delighted to launch the 2023 National Later Life Adviser Conference which will take place at the British Motor Museum and are looking forward to welcoming advisers. As an organisation which has consistently supported the needs of advisers, we feel it is important to provide access to industry experts, lenders and thought leaders to share knowledge and insight.
“The feedback we have had from the previous conferences – as well as our Masterclasses that we’ve held this year – has been phenomenal but we want to step this up even further and provide advisers with practical insights that make a real difference to their businesses. While we are starting to see some green shoots in the later life lending market, we know that businesses are hungry for insights into how they manage challenges like vulnerability, consumer duty and lead generation.
“I am looking forward to the National Later Life Adviser Conference in June and can’t wait to experience the industry debates and meet more advisers operating in this sector.”
