Air Sourcing makes charity donation to Alzheimer’s Society to mark World Alzheimer’s Day after reaching 1 million milestone in Summer KFI Campaign

21 September 2023 – Air, the leading later life lending platform, has announced that it will mark World Alzheimer’s Day by donating £6,000 in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, as part of its summer KFI campaign.

Air Club members were invited to submit their KFI’s (Key Facts Illustration) through the Air Sourcing platform, with each KFI earning reward points. When the platform collectively reached 1 million reward points, the company committed to donating £6,000 to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Air was keen to support a charitable cause as part of the campaign. After polling its members to help choose a charity that resonated with their values, The Alzheimer’s Society was the unanimous choice.

The Alzheimer’s Society funds a variety of research projects and initiatives across the UK to help improve care and work towards a cure for dementia and its related conditions. It is a vital movement that invests £10 million a year into dementia research.

With each KFI submitted, a handful of lucky members were given the chance to win a selection of prices. The winners included Alastair Shields, equity release specialist at Equity Release Scotland, who won a weekend away for two; Alexander Hamilton, later life lending manager at Positive Lending, who won an iPad; and Keith Harvey, IFA at New Leaf, who won £100 cash prize.

Mike Taylor, Managing Director at Air, commented:

“It was great to see such strong support for our Summer KFI Campaign, with so many of our members participating by submitting their KFI’s to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

“The campaign also served as reminder that generating KFI’s has never been easier with Air.  With the most API integrations of any later life lending platform , advisers can receive quick quotes, while reducing the need to re-key information, allowing them to spend more time with their clients. We hope that all those involved enjoyed the rewarding incentive to do more business whilst supporting a well deserving charity.”
